Ares is the god of war character card for Injustice: Gods Among Us Mobile, first introduced as an Online Battle season reward and later folded into packs like the Nth Metal Ultimate Pack. As a Prime roster fighter with some of the highest base damage numbers of his era, he plays as a brutal one hit nuke who punishes any team that leans on blocking.
Abilities and Stats
His passive, To the Death, triggers whenever he lands his God Smack special: it shocks the whole enemy team and strips their ability to block for a stretch of time, opening the door for slow starting special attackers to land hits clean. His first special, Weapons of War, throws his signature arsenal at range, while God Smack itself is an unblockable one hit strike capable of ending a fight outright. His super move, Annihilator, calls down an ancient undead army for a final unblockable blow. Paired with gear like the Tantu Totem or The Master's Death Cart, he can chain God Smack back to back and dismantle a team before it gets a turn.
