Valorium Alloy is the currency behind every Metal tier upgrade in Injustice: Gods Among Us Mobile, introduced alongside the Phantom Zone event in the 3.0 update. Where Nth Metal buys the packs that hold characters like Metal The Batman Who Laughs and Ares in his Merciless Metal form, Valorium Alloy is what powers up their Dark Power specials once you already own them.
You can use Valorium Alloy to:
- Upgrade Metal tier characters' Special Attacks and Super Moves
- Unlock their Dark SP1 and Dark SP2 tiers alongside Power Credits
- Push a Metal character's passive toward its strongest form
Each upgrade costs more Valorium Alloy and Power Credits than the one before it, and maxing every special plus the passive on a single Metal character adds up to tens of thousands of Alloy by the final tier. In game, it's normally earned only by clearing crystals and bosses in Phantom Zone runs, at Trainee, Veteran, or Elite difficulty.
